About
I see therapy as a space to help my clients understand themselves on a deeper level, so they can move through life with greater freedom. Life’s natural ebbs and flows can bring painful feelings, and in my experience, exploring them alongside another person can offer relief and lasting change.

I’ve worked with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, grief, eating disorders, substance use, childhood attachment wounds, and life transitions. I also enjoy working with those drawn to therapy simply for self-exploration and personal growth.

Before opening my private practice, I worked in a variety of social work settings in Harlem, Chelsea, and Brooklyn—providing trauma-focused therapy to victims of domestic violence, working with at-risk teens, and treating adults with eating disorders in an outpatient setting. These experiences deepened my understanding of the essential role relationships and personal agency play in mental health.

I approach therapy with an awareness that many different factors—our psychological patterns, culture, family, and openness to curiosity and reflection—shape how we experience ourselves and the world. My style is collaborative and flexible, drawing from psychoanalytic theory and other modalities to find what works best for you.
